Roland-Garros, colloquially known as the French Open, is the second of four annual Grand Slams, after the Australian Open.
Held annually in Paris, France, it’s the only Grand Slam to take place on clay courts.
Those famous clay courts slow down the ball, leading to longer rallies and tougher points.
